Portraiture Photography | Ola Fedurek

In between the ‘Bangor By …….’ series of posts I’m going to place spacer posts. In this instance I am going to make it a portraiture post. The model in question is my good friend Ola and we spent the day walking around Bangor and seeing what photos came about. I had some areas in mind as to where I wanted to photograph and to be honest I am actually really happy with the results that I have produced. Like most of the photographs that are on this site there was no post processing and these shots are straight from the camera.

The camera that I used was a Canon EOS 50D. And with this camera I used my primary prime lens, the Canon 50mm f1.8. Otherwise known as the nifty fifty. I am more used to using prime lenses as opposed to zoom lenses so that’s what I mainly use.

Lucky for Ola and I, it was a lovely sunny day in Bangor and I had a lot of fun getting these shots. the only bad side is that with the strong sunlight is that it caused strong shadows in some of the images but there were a couple of photographs where I used that to my advantage.

I have included eleven photographs from the shoot. The reason that I have included so many in comparison to most of the other posts on this blog is that I could not trim down the selection any further. And like I said earlier in the post all these photographs were taken in and around Bangor, North Wales.
